Quinto Crane and Plant's CPCS training with a Terry AC35L

Posted by & filed under CPCS Training, Crane Hire, Training.

The final day of CPCS training for our latest Mobile Crane candidate Rob went extremely well, with a full run through off all of the theory questions as well as a timed mock practical test.

Rob has a fantastic understanding of the theory behind mobile crane operations, including legal requirements, pre-start checks, setting up his machine and safe, smooth operation.  During the morning run through of his test questions Rob rattled through the answers giving detailed and accurate explanations.

After a quick coffee break we moved out to the yard for the mock practical test. Rob worked carefully and methodically through the practical test requirements, showing off his silky smooth operating skills.  He had a few minor hiccups in his mock, however demonstrated that he is more than capable of passing his tests tomorrow.  It has been fantastic watching Rob develop over the last two weeks and he had put an incredible amount of effort into his training.

By midday tomorrow Rob will have completed his tests and we have every confidence in him passing with flying colours.  Check back tomorrow to find out how he gets on.
